Did you purchase a device at 50% of the price when you upgraded to SFP 4?

If so, can you tell me whether you were forced to buy the device for the board you just registered for SFP 4?

..or can you buy the device for any of your Pulsar/Scope cards?

TIA

If I remember well You could choose any board for the plug registration. It's just a feature of the shop that remains unaltered.

For you Simpson's fans:

Mr. Burns says: "Oh Smithers, the Germans are threatening us..."

Best line in that episode "ach du liebe... raccoons!" (pardon my German spelling if it is incorrect.)

All nouns in German are upper case, so it is "Liebe"...

Is there a crow caw every time you see the Springfield nuclear power plant?

I often quote the wisdom of Homer:

"Alcohol, the cause of, and solution to, all of our problems". (or is it "all of life's problems").

"mmmmm...something"

etc.

PS If we are going to talk about the Simpson's you better start a new "off topic" thread.

To nprime:

I give a crap for Simpson's, in my oppinion that is as idiotic as Beavis and Butthead.

But, i'd like to know why you brought that up since it seems it kinda bashes the Germans? (If you don't mind changing the subject)

mr. burns is the evil ancient despotic owner of the nuclear(nucular) plant. he is crazy. his comment about the germans is insanity. nprime used it because the idea about being forced to buy a half price plugin because you took advantage of a free upgrade is insane(of course, you can if you want). he was implying that deejaysly was a little paranoid about the process( in good fun i b-live).

"i'd trade it all for a little more.." -mr. burns

often the Simpsons is very witty and timely. one can say things in a silly cartoon that would never be acceptable from a human's mouth(the reason the king's jester dresses like a fool).

Thank you for your interpretation.

Here's a reply from the king's jester:

Sure we do! We Canucks are just never "mean". We're the nice guys. We like to save kittens who are stranded in trees.

And besides... "Das ist not eine boobie!"

Now I know people from Chicago are known to be a bit brash and blustery...

You can be sure that just about everything I say is not to be taken in a mean spirited way, I was making fun of the Germans, not bashing them.

BTW, I am an equal opportunity kidder, don't worry I'll get around to all the other nationalities eventually.

After all, I'm Canadian, and the Americans have been doing a fair bit of Canadian bashing in the last while...

I think "finger" smilies were not really called for, it's just a cartoon man! Don't watch it if you don't like it, but I don't think you have to be rude to someone who does!

I can't help but wonder...who did you vote for in the last election? Who are you voting for this time?

Mr. Burns: Oooh, the Germans are mad at me. I'm so scared! Oooh, the Germans!Uh oh, the Germans are going to get me!
Horst: Stop it!
German Man 2: Stop, sir.
Mr. Burns: Don't let the Germans come after me. Oh no, the Germans are coming after me.
German Man 2: Please stop the `pretending you are scared' game, please.
Horst: Stop it! Stop it!
Mr. Burns: No! They're so big and strong!
German Man 2: Stop it.
Horst: Stop it, Mr. Burns.
German Man 2: Please stop pretending you are scared of us, please, now.
Mr. Burns: Oh, protect me from the Germans! The Germans...
Horst: Burns, STOP IT!

BTW That show wasn't slamming the Germans. Au contraire, the new German owners of Mr Burns nuclear power plant were safety conscious, paid well, gave all of the employees extra benefits and tried to have everyone work more efficiently. Everyone kept their job .. well, almost ...

"We regret to announce the following lay-offs, which I will read in alphabetical order. Simpson, Homer. That is all."

Alas, the powerplant was a money losing death trap with unskilled personel and they had to sell it back to Mr Burns for half of what they paid for it originally.

BTW In "Ach, du liebe..." liebe is not a noun but an adjective. The expression is "Ach du liebe Zeit". See http://groups.google.com/groups?q=ach+d ... com&rnum=1
