A place to talk about whatever Scope music/gear related stuff you want.

Seems so or pure coincidence ?

If they had posted that after CWA flood I would have said they are really teasing them to say the least !

The modular deserves more focus and more demos, it would a winner if they made the demo contest a yearly event and well as much sound demos as possible because one is not a seller.

A CWA hardware rack, bugs fixed, " refreshed " modules : look, functionality, enhanced sound, new modules to fight back, Flexor 2, other third party modules.

Clavia turning red to blue !

Haha... no, I don't think it's got anything to do with CW. Clavia is based here in Stockholm, and the weather here has been terrible.

You too ? all Europe has been served a low grade summer then !

Anyway, their thunderstorm sounds more interesting than CWA's, I hope they will consider putting more demos online because except for those of Richard Spree ( Spirit ) I just don't find the CW sound there !

it probably has...
they had a 'Bad Weather' demo (possibly still online) which totally s*cked compared to Ken's 'Thunder'

The one from the link above sounds much better (and was most likely inspired by the CWA demo), but it is rather unrealistic - the wind doesn't match the scenery and there's only one short sound that can be considered a thunder.

cheers, Tom

heh, I wonder what kinda storms they've been having over at stockholm...

The supposed "rain" sound they have sounds rather close to my riverstream patch.

But actually, I wrote a big paper on the thunderstorm patch, and people can check it out from planetZ. So I'd be quite glad if that inspired others to give it a try. I think Clavia's demo would sound more real if they used some delay and reverb.

Maybe it's about time I did something new in Mod.
