I was surfing on the web when I discovered the theremin instrument on "hollow sun" site (vintage instruments), wow, listening to their demo brought me back in time ....
They made a Akai program based on real samples of the machine, they made a performance with a classical orchestra ... Very, very impressive

So, I'm looking for a theremin modular patch or synth, anyone has this ?

Thank you

I think i remember that Celmo even made a real free complete device that suppose to completely emulate the theremin, or 'french marteneau' if i got the name right.

Les Ondes Martenot is what you're looking for, Marcus.

There is a free theremin-like device, same principle as Delay Lama here: http://www.fxpansion.com/skunk/myst11.zip
Are we listening?..

I've used the sine wave on Celmo's BassmanIII with some Spaceecho, vibrato, portamento etc to get the effect, but I'll definitely try this "ClassicalWave". I love the sound.

I think the best example was in the theme music to "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

Any other good ones ?

Sorry to say this, but Celmo's device does not capture the real thing. Waveform is a sinus wathever the frequency is, which is not the case of the theremin ...

And I couldn't make wavelenght's device work ...

I'm actually working on a modular patch ...

I would like to inject a voltage through line IN of my creamware, I want to know what is the maximun voltage (in Volts or mVolts) before distortion (when mixer goes in red) ?
Anyone ?

My question looks perhaps strange, but I want to control Pitch CV not with my keyboard but with an external device of my own (coil + magnet + amplifier...), just an experience ...
