old vocoder not working in sfp??

for the second time in my life i tried to open the old vocoder that was included in pulsar v.1 - v.2
while the last time i tried it i had the pulsar 3.01 installed and everything worked, not with SFP 3.1c it doesnt emit any sound.
is it true???
is there a way to use it again???

I remember messing around with the old vocoder once. I thought it was broken because I couldnt get any audio out of it, eve though I had analysis and synthesis signals routed into it properly.

It turned out you have to have some kind of sound processor inserted in the analysis and synthesis chain in the vocoder. Anything will suffice even if its just an open gate or a compressor. If not, the Vocoder will be all silent and seem like its not working.

Oh yeah, and dont forget to the midi input as well.
