Anyone built any ucapps.de devices lately?

A place to talk about whatever Scope music/gear related stuff you want.

Hi all,

Have any of you guys built any of Thorsten Klose's devices over at ucapps.de

The most exciting device to use with scope looks like the midibox seq, and I am in the process of building it now. (Along with the sid synthesizer)

Just wandered if anyone here has had the chance to built the sequencer and used it with pulsar/scope?

well, nothing to contribute to the topic, but just want to say hi! to remixme
the DG20 turned into a DG(catch)22 - needs lots of practice, but cannot stand too much of that
it's a nice part of my collection, though
Since lack the time for a DIY procect I have a HardSID Quattro now. Nice beast

cheers, Tom

@astroman: Good to see its still going strong.
I used to use it to put ideas I'd worked out on the guitar into a sequencer, and because I'm not much of a guitarist I'd use it when I wanted to know what notes were what.
I saw the like the lastest equivalent thing from Yamaha on the shopping channel about a month a go, it had small strings from the bridge to the beginning of the fretboard, and each note on the fretboard was a button. It sounded quite reasonable. Just made me think of the old casio.

Back on topic however... Yeah Thorsten is damn clever guy, what I admire most is his commitment to the project, and the same can be said of Johns commitment to Planetz.
I frequently leave projects unfinished so when I see projects keep going for years it gets a lot of admiration from me.

What type of case are you looking to put your sequencer in, bosone?

I think I'm just gonna get a piece of perspex or metal and cut it down to 19" rack size, fix the components to it, stick in my rack and then worry about cases when I have money to burn, rackmountable cases cost the earth, (as do alphanumeric LCD screens).
