UAD Card

Hello,

A friend of mine recently purchased an UAD card but after installing it he is having some trouble with his pc (crashing etc.) We both have the XTC card and both run Logic..
Reason why I ask this is because I am thinking about getting the UAD too, but I'm doubting a little. If more people experience the same trouble, I think I use the money to buy new boxershorts;)

So anyone, sound familiar?

Try the UAD forums?

Is there an irq conflict with the UAD?

(on a more esoteric level is the UAD trying to grab some already-allocated memory region for its mapping?)

I installed an UAD-1 recently on my P4P800Deluxe, PulsarII and Luna+I/O Box. I am using SX2 and Reason with no issues as you have described.
What are you system specs?
