One in Standard PC mode, & one in ACPI....everything seems fine so far (fingers crossed) EXCEPT one little annoyance: In ACPI mode it won't shut-down fully....goes to 'saving your settings', then 'Windows is shutting down', and just stops.....never reaches 'It is now safe to...etc'
Any ideas why anybody?....is it to do with the way my Drives are labelled/which one is primary master/slave etc?
[The ACPI set-up at the mo:
WinXP on Drive F; 2nd HD partitioned into C & D for music etc:-
Original set-up, still there until I'm sure I'm happy with ACPI: C Drive- WinXp (Std mode); D Drive- Samples; F Drive- Audio.]
My goal is to have just one OS- ACPI mode.
EDIT: Problem solved:
Disabled Graphics acceleration & setting processor affinity to 0 only for SFP
EDIT 2:
Not sure if I'm talking to myself here, but anyway, I'm now NOT convinced that changing affinity settings is best
