Basically this is a midi conflict problem. I can only use the sounddiver software to control the pod settings when I'm not running a pulsar project. I suspect that I might need another hardware midi controller. If anyone uses the souddiver to control a pod (or anything else) and runs a pulsar project at the same time, could they let me know how they do it? Thanks.

I'm having a similar problem with Soundiver 3.0. I can't seem to get Luna to communicate with my Pod Pro unit. I admit I'm a neophyte so any basic help would be appreciated.

I have Luna's MIDI I/O's connected to the Pod MIDI I/O's yet I keep getting error messages in Soundiver that seem to indicate a communication problem. I've tried loading the various modules in Luna (MIDI source/dest and Sequencer source/dest) wired may different ways and no luck. Any help is appreciated.

I use Patchwizard with my POD rather than sounddiver, and it works fine. You shouldn't really have to hook anything up in the Pulsar project, as you're not really going to dump into a sequencer or anything.

I have 2 MIDI sources loaded in Pulsar, one is for my STS5000 to use and the other for the MIDI port (attached to the PoD) - does any other software (sequencer etc) see your MIDI device(s)?

Sorry I can't be more specific, as I'm at work right now....

I run the Pod through Sysex messages. No conflicts as the messages are only processed by the Pod itself.
Are we listening?..
