I have an (old)system with three pulsarII boards I want to put one of the boards with some of the plug-ins registered to it in my new system, as I have a powerpulsar and a pulsar II in there already I don't need some other plug-ins (understand my strange english? )for ex I want sts 5000 in both system and not double in the new one. or is it just a matter of trying?

it is combined: looking into cset.ini. The first board holds the licenses and the file tells you the slot of that board. The remaining two you have to test which of the remaining board numbers the SFP installer accepts. At your page in the CW-shop you can then switch the desired plug-ins for this number.

thanks Micha,

I've already worked it out.

Ive red about the test that you guys do to load masterverb's I've done that I can load up to 12 MVpro's
than with the 13th I get the message "maximum capacity.....
altough the DSP meter is only up to about 50% is this normal?

That test tests PCI bus, it puts a lot of strain on it: Afaik, one MV uses about same bandwith as 200 ASIO channels.
The test is not about DSP load -you can use DSP Meter for that.
12MV's is very good, amongst the top scores here.

Glad you're SFP'ing again

ok thanks at0mic,

yes me to very glad to be back with this great stuff,
I'm not fully operational jet but its getting there.
I use to have this guy that did all the tweaking on my system but at the moment :???:I 've to do it all myself and its a lot of reading and studying....
i had this two systems in a network before but after two days of struggeling I'm still not there, the only communication between them that's working is midi and ADAT(happy that works btw)I've bought a book about network but can't seem to figure out what I do wrong.
anyway take a break from it now maybe tomorrow i can see things more clear.
