Shure I get it, and I agree. It is just, that shaping is a psychology term (and is used about an unconsious process in wich parrents by awarding some actions and "punishing"/ignoring other actions influence the way children behave on a long term - all parrents do this). This doesn't have to make it a better choosen word, and I fully agree with you, that it does have a funny "taste".
