With all do respect to Braincell, his statement(s) are going beyond harmless rumors. He is bashing CW in a time we all should be supportive to them. He is talking about none payments and mistreatment to paul by Creamware. If your statements were nearly true don't you think paul would have taken legal action??

I am sure Paul has not mentioned any of these accusations on this forum. Nor he meant anyone to take his post to extreme.

In paul's defence he simply informed the planetZ people that he has not been with CW for a while (like many Creamware employees during the insolvancy) and wanted his account deleted. Also he stated he does not know when he will be called back to work (like many Creamware employees). As you know CW is in restructring mode so things take time for a company to get back on their feet. Let us give them time. They came out on this forum and they were candid with all of us to what happened and Frank asked us to be patient.

I urge you and urge others from the Z community to use this forum for positive input rather create bad vibes among CW users toward CreamWare. We all here to simply learn and get creative with what we got from creamware gears.

I may be wrong but it sounds to me that Braincell is trying to drive a wedge between Paul and CW.

With this post I intend no disrespect to Braincell or any other user posting to this group.

How do you know this? What's the point of posting such a statement?

I am sure PAUL does not really need your pity or mine. He is bigger than that.

Paul is very smart and is well knowlegeable in this industry and has many connections and I am certain he is a person who can't be unemployed too long. Hell, he may be making more money now then he made with CW.

In a perfect world we all be working for companies that keep making money all the time and keep hiring more and more people until there is no one unemployed and we
all create beautiful music

But then we are not in a perfect world. Some will make beautiful music and some will only make noise.

I guess you edited your post again. I hope you join the positive thinkers and let us all keep this forum what it supposed to be.

I think Paul's post was a cry for help. He needs our support.

Maybe he doesn't want to come back

I was laid off from my day job a couple of years ago and at the point where I walked out of the building, it was as if a giant weight was lifted off my shoulders. It was at that point I decided to try something different (I turned my studio hobby into a business). I'm happier now then I have been in many years. I wish Paul all the best but I wish all the people that lost jobs at CW the best.

I did, however, think it was a little strange to post a public message in this forum asking to be removed. A private email to John would have served the same purpose, thereby reducing the amount of ridiculous speculation that is going on. If Paul was really a functioning member of this on-line community, he could have simply posted a message directed to all of us explaining what was going on. Whatever. Life goes on.

Paul recently emailed me that he's now working at the Vancouver General Hospital, as part of a team managing an emormous (> 10,000) network of computers.

We can all agree that Creamware, and the user community, has lost a great resource in Paul.
But, he's elsewhere, he's employed, he's busy, so let's all move on now. If he has the time or inclination to continue participating here, then he will.

So I guess they didn't give him a gold watch at his retirement party. I'm glad he is okay. Thanks for the update.

Hi everyone,

to Kris: the reason for my post was I thought is was the nicest way to let everyone know without sounding rude/mad/disgruntled.
I could have been ugly about it I was not, and instead off doing it behind closed doors via John I figured planetz crew should know first hand.

as far as Braincell goes :
It was no plea nor call for help..
some of the things you said were out to leftfield as well as wrong...

John stated correctly I am working and am very busy at the moment.

but I will still be around...

Hello.
It has been 2 years since my last post. Wow time do fly! The reason is that I'm a happy owner of a ProTools HD-1 system. Anyway I wish you all the luck! (you may remove my account too)
