a new 'wavelength' synthesizer inspired by the famous 'Moog Rogue'...
thrust specs:
VCO
- paired ramp and pulse (with width control) oscillators
- osc2 of pair can be detuned and synced to osc1
- sync features switchable envelope contouring
- white noise generator
VCF
- 'rogue'-style lowpass filter with resonance
- ADSR cutoff frequency control envelope
- key tracking
- envelope amount control (can also be modulated by velocity)
VCA
- level control for each oscillator and noise with waveshaping (distortion) at high levels
- AMP envelope (ADSR) is controlled by filter envelope (can be switched to bypass)
- volume control
- external input level control
- global controls: coarse tune, fine tune, glide, pitch bend range
EFFECTS
- cool polyphonic sample and hold feature! hit chords and let them cycle while you tweak the mods and filters (you might need to lower volume as polyphony goes up); features a dedicated LFO and MIDI clock, with stepped and linear output controls to pitch and filter cutoff destinations!
- modwheel controls a multimode (sine, pulse, up-ramp, down-ramp, triangle, random) LFO that can modulate pitch/ filter/ both
FEATURES...
- ultra-smooth control functionality (no zipping or popping)
- very flexible sound creation possibilities
- can be extremely (and uniquely) aggressive-sounding or liquid-mellow
- insanely huge bass frequencies
- rich, warm filter
- sync contouring creates warped timbres

This things sounds exactly like the old analog machines. In software synths it reminds me of the Miniscope. In fact I'd be surprised if there's much in here that the Miniscope can't do. I find the sound hard and raw.
Price-wise it's in the same bracket as the Celmo BassmanIII. But features-wise and for flexability, the BassmanIII is my choice.
