tnx for your comment, Immanuel
here's a pic for yousince you seem to like rocks, not too far from the area I live.
this is my personal favouriteand my hardest success - couldn't move my arms afterwards
well, Samplaire, since I knew Analog's roadmap I just googled the number + Sharc
cheers, Tom

Master Google knows all !
When CW will recover, I hope to see this happen : when you look at the benchmarks and figures on Analog Devices, you can't refrain drooling !
Plus I guess, new possibilities beyond raw power ...
It would be smart to launch swap deals : old - new cards for a fee so that CW could develop new hungry devices and atoms.
The average user will be then a power user : less limitations to develop.
Then the devices will be more hungry and finally, we'll be only able to run 5 voices on super synths and then " CW cards suck ! "
What will they do with the new PCI generations coming tho ?
They could wait for them to be a little established so more delays ?
Idle speculations and some dreams ... oh well, that can't do harm !

If you look close you'll see a rope going up from him, so he cannot take a real fall (just stretches the rope a bit) and thus lacking all the fun of being scared to death

That rock is a perfect example of movement and rythm. 25m high with 7 safety bolts to fix the rope on your way up.
One (usually) has just enough power to reach the next safety point, fix the rope with a short rest and go on for the next one. Since it's overhanging, you cannot take a full rest in between, but have to move on quickly.
It really gets you into trance with your heart being the bassdrum...
Hubird, on nice summer weekends this area is almost conquered by Dutch people coming in busloads...

cheers, Tom
