- new oscillators featuring sync
- noise generators (white/ pink)
- much wider transposition range
- new glide (portamento) feature in global
- new 4-Pole filters, including lowpass, highpass and bandpass
- cleaner amp envelope
- smoother controls on filter cutoff and volumes
- more blue!
all previous CreamWare presets have been updated + some new presets have been added
; )
note: when loading old presets to the new BlueSynth, you may have to adjust the global 'transpose' knob, as well as the filter's resonance position

The stock synths that come with Pulsar are crap. OK, that's bit harsh and I know some people like the UKnow, and some even like the EZ, but against even the free synths out there they are pretty limp. The Blue is the best of the bad lot. As a "real" synth it almost makes it - almost.
But with this update the Blue really steps back up. It can compete again. The filter section is an order of magnitude better, the presets are better, the feel and control are better. You can finally get a pad that sounds lush rather than just like three slightly detuned and weak 12dB oscillators.
This is a great update. CW should scrap their version and bundle this with any new cards.

yippee!
phatter sound than the original blue! - the oscillators and noise make this instrument sound much thicker and less digital than the original blue synth - great for the same style sounds, now warmer.
great modification dr. hummel! i now have no use for the original blue synth, as it sounds wimpy and puny and will probably delete it!
