I am now using Sonar Producer 3 as my sequencer. I got it upgrading my version of logic Audio Gold 4.81 for $379.00. It looks cool. I now have to start all over after using Logic for four years.  I also have Micro Logic AV that Samplitude is giving a crossgrade to. It is unregistered. Anyone need a swap? I paid $79.00 for it. Check out the Crosgrades at any store.

Welcome my friend to the wonderful world of Sonar.

I'd be interested in your observations about the product. I'm still going through the learning curve. So far, it's everything I had hoped it would be and then some.

I did some very rudimentary 24/96 recording today. Very cool.

Still grapling with some ASIO confusion though. Can't seem to find any real information on the subject and the SFP guide is useless in this regard. Some ASIO modules only show up as odd number channels and some only show up as left channels only. Why is that?

I am now getting used to Sonar full after using a trial version for only about three weeks. That problem with the channels. I had it with Logic. I have two Luna cards. When I build a project with a particular card I would get the problem. When I used the other one all channels are connected. It is definately not the sequencer. If you have more than one cards try building different projects with each of them and see what happens. You will hear from me again shortly.

Are you suggesting I have a defective Pulsar board?

I only have one Pulsar and one XTC board installed in my computer. Maybe I'll contact CW Tech Support and see what they say.

My board still works but I use the other one as the main board and build my projects with it because I don't get the problem with that one. Your board is not broken if it is still working. I believe it is an issue with the board in question and the SFP software.
