Hi
I have a BIG problem.
I bought FXpansion and Obsidian effects - about £200 worth - at the end of 2000, and was running them on my Pulsar 2 card happily.
Recently I had to reformat my HD, and lost the serial numbers for these.
However, I do have my old P2 folder on my previous computer.
Can anyone tell me where I might find the
key numbers on my old hard drive?
I am using a G4.
Btw, I have contacted both FXpansion and Creamware, but to no avail.
Thanks
Maurice
Where are the keys stored?

Hi Maurice
The reg keys are stored in the file scope.rgy in the app/bin directory.
Open it (best do this with a copy) in wordpad, and you'll see the line (for example):
#(hardware ser no) Obsidian AnaChorus followed by a long number.
The key is the 12 numbers following the starting 0.
I don't know if these keys will work on your new installation, but I believe they're associated with your Pulsar card, so they should.
Good luck,
/dave
