Volkszampler at 48kHz?

We know that VZ can import samples up to 96kHz and that's awesome. But it doesn't seem to adhere to the host program's sample rate.

Thus, playback at 48kHz produces out-of-tune notes, because it seems VZ is internally stuck at 41.6 kHz.

Does anyone use VZ successfully at 48kHz?

I don't think Volkszampler (or any sample player for that matter?) can simply adjust the sampling rate of a wave/program on the fly? So if it's host program (logic/cubase etc) is different than the sample there might be problems.

I just stick to 44.1Khz and 24bit
