i'm waiting for sonar2 (i recently found it used on ebay).
the big question: using ASIO and a P3 866 with 384 MB ram, what latency will i be able to use without clicks and pops??
just to put my heart in peace and know if i have to buy also a new PC...

are you joking or is it real???
for me it would be a dream!
my main soundcard is the luna2 (for ULLI) then i havea pulsar1+pulsar SRB (11 dsp).
i don't think i will use a lot of VSTi/DXi, but some of them yes... it's the main reason i wanted to go for sonar2.
but only free VSTi, not the latest and CPU hungry ones...

No joke !

Well, my setup work at 3ms from day one on XP, in fruity, cubase, logic or sonar.

These days i'm exploring sonar3 demo, to replace logic eventually, but i like logic alot, no other seq convinced me so far.

I had a bit of trouble with sonar, it doesn't support the flt drivers, but 24bits is ok, and i had to limit a bit the asio channels count in sfp... Or else i would have audio engine stop in sonar when activating a send for exemple.

With my Luna 11 card and ASIO drivers I went down to 1.5 ms with a trial version of Sonar 2.2. I am still playing around with it. Sonar 3 is still on the pre order list for crossgrade as soon as it is available I am getting it
