I came across this tip in some old tripleDAT documentation I had saved. I thought it was worth posting again.
I can only confirm this works in Win98/ME. Not sure about other versions. Try it and see.
If you press the shift key when you click on the restart button, only Windows will reload - not a complete system reboot which will save a few seconds every time you have to reboot.
