is it possible to programme a drumloops out of STS series using drum kits as you would do with applications such as fruity loops etc...

There are a couple of Modulars I made that use the Modular Drum Sequencer to send midi notes from the midi out to drum kits on any midi receiving device.
This is Small and is controlled by a pattern seq., the clock is slave as default, store presets with int. clock to check them quickly:

This is very big, 6 dr. seq. modules to reach almost all midi notes of a GM kit, it is controlled by playing any note on a keyboard except an octave that is dedicated to pattern switching with PS32.
