Hi all
Can one convert a 24-bit wav file directly to mp3? Or does it need to be dithered down to 16 bits first?
If it's possible, might there be a difference in quality between creating an mp3 file using one method or the other?
TIA,
Royston

I am not shure if you can, but my guess is, that you would be better of spending the Bytes on higher frequency compression.
