Is it impossible to buy a Pulsar 2 card?

A place to talk about whatever Scope music/gear related stuff you want.

My A7N8X motherboard have arrived... but still no Pulsar 2 card. The store that i ordered a Pulsar 2 from didnt have it in stock (although it said so on the webpage)
and cant give me a delivery date. And this seem to be the case with every store i know of! Have Creamware stopped manufacturing these cards or what???!

If someone knows of somewhere where you can buy a Pulsar 2 card (that can ship it within europe), please give me a URL, adress or telephone number!!

There are no dealers that have it in stock near you?
You could try internet stores like germany-based Thomann (http://www.netzmarkt.de/thomann/)
I've never bought anything from them but I hear very good things about them.

Try this link http://www.musicians-gear.com/ You can order online here, also if you don't have a creditcard.

that's why I think it's nice if people have their living country mentioned in their profile, showing up in the name field here on the left.
It invites giving fast tips related to earth site.

Thomann is fine, Music Store/koeln-Germany also.

Same thing happens to me here in Norway, theese cards ar expensive, and thats why no one wants them lying around (because it actually costs a lot of money to have stuff lying around).
And when they order stuff, they have to order from a regional distributor, and they again probably have to order directly from CW.
CW does ofcourse NOT send one card every time someone orders one, they wait until there are a good few, or until they cant wait to ship any longer.

It is a poor strategy of both CW and their distributors.
It seems that CW is connected with a lot of slightly unprofessional distributors, and that might be because other (good) distributors might want to charge more money (to make up for costs of having CW's products in stock), and CW won't let them because they are worried about sales dropping..

This is what it seems to me, I don't know...

55 people in the company.sometimes demand outstrips supply.usually i can get a card in days.when i got my first card it took about a month(several years ago),but it was worth the wait.if no one has one(someone probably does...),place the order and be patient.it'll be worth it.....

I dont know if its listed on your website, but Thomann.de gave me an answer that they had no pulsar 2 cards, and no dates to any new shipments of them. It sounded pretty much as they didnt want to sell Pulsars in the future :/
The other that was empty at the time i contacted them was Music-city.de as well as music store koeln. These two have pulsar 2 classics in stock, but they are waiting for new Pulsar 2 pluses..
Hope that helps

It seems that the Pulsar2 Plus is real hard to get a hold of in certain areas..

I personally dont like to use phono plugs in my setup, xlr and jacks are much easier to handle, and all of my other gear uses xlr and/or jacks, so I find this a bit odd...
