Besides - who would like to sell gear that is not 100% tested? I think you can trust Andre's setups

Supposedly, XP Home Ed. is not able to connect to a Windows Domain Server (never tested it), but to my ears, that sounds like a blessing. I'm a Linux man myself (learning anyway). As soon as my laptop is up and running with a Magma chassis and Creamware cards, my main box goes Linux! BTW: for a total non-sequitar, have you guys tested any laptop motherboards for PCI bandwidth? My laptop uses an ALi mobo, and I'm worried that though the Magma will work fine, the laptop's PCI bandwidth might crap out after two reverbs. I'm trying to look ahead at potential replacements for it.

home edition can only connect to a single domain controller, but in most corporate installations they have several.
Don't mind - it's just a 'licensing ripp-off as usual' - same code, blocked by some numbers, twice the cash for the same amount of work.
I really don't get why people (so-called decision makers) are accepting such business practice - but that belongs to the rant thread...
