No reloading of I/O drivers

Hi there,

I think its pretty stupid that fx the asio drivers is reloaded with every project. When it does that, all my routing in my DAW is ruined. Actually, I have to restart My DAW nearly everytime I switch SFP project to have no issues.

Wouldn't it be possible to have an option (in the settings) to choose between stationary ASIO drivers (so fx 24 channels is allways available) or do normal reload.

Yeah, its really annoying isn't it ! ?

Have a feeling that its not possible because of the floating point architecture of the DSPs though.

(just a guess)

I'm sure they would have tried to do it if they could, wouldn't they ?

I know its not neat but what I do is to set my sequencer (cubase) to one of the direct sound or mme drivers while i switch project to prevent it erroring and potentially crashing. Then, when the new project is loaded I switch back to scope asio

Well, that's actually a good work-a-round, thanks. But anyway, I'ld still like a smoother solution.
