Hello Helldriver,
I don´t know a patch that is similar to a microwave. But maybe you can try my MicroQuasi modular patch in the modular forum here at Planet Z. I tried to copy the sound of a Mirco Q. Maybe you can compare it?
The patch ist huge and single voice only, sorry.

Cheers

Yes, I read a test review about the Micro Q, in that was described what OSCs Filter and Effects are used in the MicroQ. So I tried to re-build the architecture. I compared the final sound with some MicroQ sounds from a CD and it sounds in the same way for my surprise. I hope you can use the MicroQuasi.

Why don't you just pay the $99 for the ModIII upgrade? It's well worth it.

i have enough synths and i don´t think that mod3 is much better than 2 but i have never tried mod3 unfortunately.
but there must be a patch which is nearly similar to microwave on the mod 1 or 2 (mod1 and 2 has waldorf osc as well).
