Okay,I purchased creamware Luna 2 audio card!Finnaly!
So,I'm back with many questions.I am first time opening creamware software, and I am pretty confused. Here is some of the first questions:
When I open SCOPE PLATFORM software, and then cubase,it says:xtc effects will not be available,or something like that?Is this normal, and in what order I need to open devices for recording?
2.In win xp,software says:your hardware is version 3.0 find some other software,or something like that  What is this? So,I am back on old win98 ...
3.I have some scraches in sound when I record it...is there some straight manual how to start recording on this card?

Thanks

Hi darkstar and welcome on board

The first is easy, yes, it is normal. You can use your card either in XTC mode (that is, not running Scope Fusion Platform) or in SFP mode. If you don't use XTC mode, you can disable it in SFP settings and won't get any error messages (having the message doesn't hurt anyway)

The second.. I'm not sure about this.. but have you updated to SFP 3.1c?

The third. How do you record? What drivers are you using? Is your input analog or digital?

1) Perfectly normal, the 'XTC not available' when SFP is open: u can't use XTC dev when SFP is open. Only when it's closed. If u don't use XTC, deactivate the XTC otpion in SFP-> set -> settings -> xtc

2) see here

3) try fiddling w Cubase audio settings and SFP ULLI.

the premium offers are only for new customers who buy Pulsar II or "higher", not Luna.

Also, for clarification: XTC mode means that you use the Creamware devices (synths, fx) as you would normal VST plugins inside Cubase (although they'll still be powered by the DSP's on your Luna card), as oppsed to the normal SFP mode, where you power up the SFP environment first and load the devices in there.

Hey guys
I have one problem.I can't figure out what
S/pdif is,I don't get it.Somewhere it says that it is IN,somewhere that it is OUT.When I tried to connect it to my home stereo, nothing happened. When I tried to connect my keyboard to it,nothing happened. Is it muted maybe somewhere? Can you explain me what I can do with this Input(or output).
One more thing.I have many devices(.dev files),but I can't open many of them.Is that free plugins&devices,or I must buy licence to use them.Is there any place to download some cool free stuffs for luna?I will try link that manual reccomends-creamware.com

thank you very much.Without help of this forum,I would probably end up smashing my PC

Be patient, brother, give yourself enough time to grasp the basic principles. Sp/dif is a digital in-out, so no wonder you don't hear anything when you plug it in your amp! You'd use it to send or receive a signal from a device with the same kind of connection, like a reverb or AD converters. On your SFP surface, your analog in-out correspond to the "luna analog source or destination" device. These are the physical 1/4 inch jack plugs on your card and which you must connect to your amplifier and speakers. The jack input is where you connect your analog source, be it mic pre-amp or any line-level input to send it into the digital domain. Normally, the devices which are installed should work. Do you drag and drop then on your surface? Don't hesitate to ask any question!

Hello
Thanks, that gives some light on topic
I have this setup:from my keyboard L/R out I am connected to 8 chanel behringer mixer, then I'm connecting behringer main L/Rout to the analog in of LUNA.Is this best way to conect these machines(as somebody told me that tape out's of my behringer is better choice)?I made my first poject in scope platform software,I managed to understand how midi in midi out works )) WITHOUT MANUAL!!:)))
Thanks
