Is there a way to output each reason synth to a different channel on the pulsar mixer?
Thanks
Reason 2.0
Yes
- First you right-click on the Asio Source-icon in the routing window and choose "surfaces/open channel settings".
- Then you choose the amount of channels you need.
- Now you go to the preferences in Reason.
- Under the Audio-settings you have to activate the channels you need.
- When you have done that you will see each channel light up in the "Audio Out"-device in Reason, and they are ready to use through the "Audio Out"-device.
- Remember to connect the newly open channels to the SFP-mixer.
- Have fun!

Essentially it binds Cubase and any Rewire Slave app together to work as one. They lock toghether in synch ( i have heard reports of imperfections with this but never exerienced them ) You can then select Reason devices in Cubase as the destination of for Midi channels.
I need to learn more about what Rewire actually does...

Also When you plug say a NN19 sampler directly into the audio interface at the top of the Reason rack, You can then Mix it through the the Cubase Mixer using the specific Rewire Channels. This means you can the use the higher quality VST effects on Reason channels.
Second to this you can then 'Bus' this channel out to the SFP Mixer for further effecting using SFP's effects or any combination of the following:
Reason Effects
Cubase Effects
VST effects
SFP effects
Understanding the power yet?
For example I use Cubase as my central piece using the Dr Rex for recycled Loops and the NN19 for very basic samples. VSTi's & VST effects as well as SFP plugin synths & effects PLUS I control external hardware as well that routes back through SFP for monitoring and and into Cubase for recording.
Mostly (About 80%) controlled through a couple of Cubase screens an occasionally switching to Reason or SFP or Hardware.
Efficient work.
