I just wanted to find out if there are any drummers who use a creamware hardware in a drum setup (electronic drums for ex). I would be glad to hear experiences from you... if any

not a drummer,but i've used esd8 and esd16 and sds as sound sources w/hart drum pads several times.worked like any other synth....

mm, so I guess it works very fine, like a keyboard.... I was looking for comments on "expressivity" but it's only a matter of programmation. I asked because I have a friend who is a drummer, i want to connect him to my setup... (modulars must be fun....).

there are some cool modulars for drummers imo...

and not only midi, but audio too....

send the drums signal (from mics) to these modulars, to add to the original sound or substitute:

I use the STS3000 for to play.

I have allways had a synk problem with the SDS.
And i have tried to correct it by channging the ULLI to get a lower latency...but it doesent seem to get the problem to go away.

Maybye it's just me....

Well anyway.
I have used triggering mikrofones on my frinds aqoustic drums and that has worked well together with the STS3000 and i gues it would be even better with the STS4000 or 5000.

you guys might like to try my "drum rep", on my shareware page (at the bottom). it was designed to replace a gated audio signal with a sample, perfect for drum-sound replacement + it works with a regular mic.

But it's more a remix tool for me (audio). My friend has to be captured in midi above all

. There can also be samples, synths, modulars etc that can be triggered.
In fact may be i was looking for bad experiences, because i don't know much about drums, how electronic drums / triggers works in relation to triggering samplers/synth, but apparently it works fine.
