i dunno if anyone mentioned this on here, it's something i noticed a while ago, but never said anything...

i own the luna II powersampler that came with luna software v3.01. in this version you could "adjust" the cables (up/down) so you could see the device better..

i now use the sfp 3.1 and it doesn't have this feature..

i know it's a weak complaint.. but i liked moving everything out of the way.. especially with really messy projects...

Doesn't that get a bit confusing. I've got a Luna board too and started on 3.01, but I find it impossible to remember where anything is without seeing how it is routing. Even with pretty messy projects I still seem to be able to get all the devices so they aren't too confusing.

Sounds like its personal taste really . . . but whatever the details, I'd still rather be on 3.1 !

yeah, but what i meant was that with messy projects you can't exactly know what goes where with all those cables overcrossing, without moving the device around a bit..

this way, you could move the cables anyway you'd like, to give a clearer view of how everything's connected..

i dunno, i guess i liked it that way..

hmm, I'm on mac, but I never had such a cable moving feature.
I just can fine-move the icons with the four arrows to adjust the cables to the screen resolution.

But you're right, it would be a great feature if you freely could move the cables, or even better, could user-define the vertical/horizontal position of the icons, together with the free choise to exchange the in and out positions from left to right and upside/downside...

The workaround now of course is clicking on a cable or on the icon to see what you have.

Yeah, that feature is gone with SFP. But it never worked anyway, because even with moving cables around, once you clicked on a device, its cables would snap back to their original position. So it was kinda useless from the beginning.

If I have cables overlapping, then I click on devices to see what they're connected to.
