Hi,

My samplepools are empty! M3 just states the correct size of the pool - apart from that it´s empty. And when trying to load Creamwares Partials samplepool - whoa! M3 just freks out. The samples are there - but I can´t reach them. Anybody had the same experience?

M

Hi,
I've had no problem with SamplePools in M3.

However, I do know that the sample pool module itself was released in a new version with M3, as there was a bugfix (the old version used to save all samples with each presets, leading to very big patches.)

Are you using old v2 patches which use the sample pool? If that's the case, try reloading the pool from the menu (if its a factory pool) or rebuilding it with the M3 emppty pool(if its a home made one).

The Shruti patch on the CW user patches page uses the new pool and works fine for me - does this one work OK for you?

Also, are you on Mac or PC? I know of some people who were having problems using my JD800 pool on a Mac.

Good luck,
Ben

Hello Ben,

Well, this is odd. I tried to load your JD800 pool, and my M3 just states that it´s 2.1 MB - but there are no samples in it. Strange...

I downloaded the Shruti patch and the pool within it works just fine, but if I try to load another pool into the patch - even the Creamware-pools- the pools are empty or just weird.

I´m on a PC, AMD XP2000, WinXP Professional.

Hmm, I really don´t know what´s going on...

M

Hi,
I've recreated the JD800 pool with the M3 sample pool. I'll upload it sometime over the weekend - see if that one is OK.

Definitely something weird going on.....

Cheers,
Ben

OK

Sounds great. Thanks Ben for your time and effort. I´ll check with your JDpool after the weekend.

JD800 Internal sampleset pool now uploaded to the Presets & Files area. Let us know if this works for you in MIII.
Works fine for me.

Cheers,

Hi Ben,

I tried your pool and it works fine. That´s great, the pool works fine in M3 - as long as it´s not a pool loaded in M2...

I posted a bugreport on Creamware´s page. So, hopefully they will fix it - so that I won´t have to load all my pools all over again.
