Luckily I found someone via another internet forum who just bought a Pulsar 2, and he'll let me profit from it by participating in that nice Creamware action where you can get a free plugin for getting them a new customer.

So I get to choose a free plugin, but which one would you choose? They all seem very good, and I could really use them all, but I'm leaning toward Vinco right now, just because I really don't have a decent compressor in my setup (except for the standard pulsar comps, which I think don't sound nice at all).

Before you choose, maybe you should try out D-mute's free compressor plugin:

People seem really satisfied with this device.

Just a thought.

Mazzelaar!

I would choose Vinco or Psy Q, but apparently the STS-4000 I offered wasn't interesting enough for "Justketchup".

Been playing with this a bit and it seems to do the job very well. Much better than the pulsar standard comps. It also looks great
Still I wasn't quite as impressed with it as with the Vinco demo, so I might still get that. Otherwise it's probably either Minimax or Optimaster.

can i ask you how much time did you wait before CW contacted you?
it's 3 week that the guy who bought pulsar by my name sent the form and the purchase bill, but nothing happened.
i also mailed to CW, but got no answer...

PS: i'd chose optimaster (if they reply!)

CW didn't contact me yet, nor did I contact CW yet. I just agreed with the guy who bought the pulsar, but he hasn't got it yet. I'll let you know how it goes, we all know CW aren't the best when it comes to contact with their customers though (although usually when I wrote them I got reasonable quick replies).

Well, this is all a big hoax if you ask me. The guy who bought the Pulsar says he's sent the stuff to CW twice. I heard nothing. I emailed CW twice, still haven't heard a thing.

Thank you very much for this kind offer Creamware. If you're not going to answer your customers, don't run the goddamn competition in the first place.

I just sent the another, not so friendly anymore, email.

I emailed three different people at CW about another matter and only got one reply: an automatic "out of office" message

Speaking about Creamware hoaxes, whatever happened to the Modular-III contest ? Silence there too.
