I want to use a couple programs that don't have asio drivers, well they aint working in my system anyway i.e. t-raks and cooledit 2.0
whats the best way to incorporate the wave /source dest drivers into this proj, should i set up the mixer to run the lot.
Heres my current background project
adat source 1-8 to asio dest 1-8 (01v-lightpipe)
asio source 1-2 to analog dest
asio source 3-10 - adat dest 1-8 (lightpipe - o1v)
(i'm running pulsar 1, 01v, akai s5000 etc)
thanks in advance for any useful comments/tips on customising my background.pro
wave dest and asio drivers in background proj

Add WAV drivers as required and mix them with ASIO to Analog Dest. Then you can independantly use ASIO/WAV, as you choose...
To save the most, I have one ASIO Source and one WAV Source, connected to Micromixer. I panned ch1 left, ch2 right for ASIO and 3L,4R for wav.
I think that loads quickest. As with many things on this platform, there's no clear rules, only experiences and preferences
