P.S. I'm looking for a free dub delay (tape echo) for SFP. Something that would sound like Roland RE-201 Space echo. Is there something like it? Oh, I'm looking for pattern delay, too. I know it's included in Effects Package II, but I don't have it. Maybe somebody did something simmilar for free?
Help a newbie apply some fx

I just got my brand new Luna II with 2496 I/O box and OptiMaster. Oh, god, does it sound great! The problem is I don't know how to apply OptiMaster (or any other SFP DSP fx) to my .wav files in SoundForge 6 or when rendering my projects to .wav in Acid 4. How and where do I connect Optimaster? And MasterVerb? I can hear the fx applied in my Luna analog out, but I want to use effects on my wavs or Acid projects. What are 'External FX' in STM mixer? Can I add external VST effects like NI Spektral Delay to Luna STM mixer and use it as a send effect without running VST host like Cubase? I hope you won't RTFM me
(if you do, tell me what page to look at). This forum is great, you guys are the reason I bought Luna and not some other card.

for the dub delay: look for 'mary jane' in device section. it's great (both versions)!!! there's also a dub delay by algorhythm for modular, but i guess you don't have it...
SFP can't run VST fx, but you can connect them via ASIO i suppose (never tried it. latency?) in the same way, connect your audio sequencer to SFP to use the CW fx. never used the 'external fx' thing... RTFM
goes for me as well.
this is a very basic explenation, but it all will be quite simple.

welcome to Z -
to record optimaster FX, route your wave source (on pc) thru the effect, and to a record input (for example, wave dest). I don't think that SF supports recording at the same time as playback, so you will have to use Acid or some such to playback the track while you record the optimaster output in soundforge - you'll get it soon enough.

check the device area here on Z!!! all the synths you have ever dreamed off for FREE. agreed, with 3 DSP's you won't be able to load all of them or get a lot of voices, but you can dump your sounds in your audio sequencer to free up your luna... until you put enough cash aside to treat yourself with a second hand pulsar, like i did.
DSP is addictive.
