I don't get it Adim.
Have you gone through all the possibilities of all your synths and devices already?
Or are you just an addict who can't get enough?

I think that may be the problem: too many toys! I got about 700 devices, haven't even tried all the ones I have a license for.

What new plugin did you have in mind, Adim? Post your plugin idea in the Idea's For Devices forum. Maybe one day you'll play with it

Firstly I think this is quite a pointless thing to announce. Secondly, I can't think of any type of (mainstream) effect/synth that isn't available for the Creamware platform.

I just had a quick look at TC and UA's sites, simply because people always highlight those as shining examples of DSP cards with 3rd party integration. TC had three 3rd party plugins released. UA had none, with the following quote on their FAQ page:
After much internal debate and a lot of market research we have come to the conclusion that making the UAD-1 a platform for yet another plug-in format is not the approach that we currently want to pursue. The unique design of the DSP chip used in the UAD-1 offers unprecedented power, but also requires Universal Audio engineers to code any 3rd Party plug-ins for it. At this time we feel our engineering team would benefit our customers best interests by continuing to create our own next generation plug-ins that are simply not possible using competing DSP cards.
Also, I think you may have made this point before.

Cheers,
Will

Can I ask specifically what you think is a suitable frequency for the delivery of new plugs. As an example:

-OS Update every how long?
-New plugin effect ever how long?
-New plugin device (synth sample etc) every how long?

And I invite comments from all too on this.

For me:
OS update (big or small) 12- 18 mths inc patches,
Effects perhaps two delivered yearly,
Devices perhaps two delivered yearly.

Thats 5 releases per year or one every 2.4 months (in hindsight I think thats a big ask actually)

Of course we'd all love more. But what do you think is reasonable to expect?

I got the MiniMax too, last week. It's the best synth ever happened to me. I love it's warmth, deep sounds, unseen filter. It's built-in chorus/flanger and delay effect allow for more cool lines under one preset. Instant access to heaven this is.
Did away with Cubase for now, it's sequenced by an MC-505. Mega tweak fun this is!! Sometimes I can't believe it's all there in my box. For years I've tried hundreds of soft synths and effects combinations to get this sound. I'm off to my music boot again

Same hear. You try to copy a sound then think you're not good enough, then something like this comes along and makes it easy.
