Announcing SynCron & Drummin

Post by spacef »

Hi all,
Anyone knows wether there is adevice named "SynCron" on Scope ?

I have been updating/correcting Aquarius/LogiQ drumming ensemble.
Spielraum has helped a lot, making fantastic presets for AquaMax, that also work very well in SynCron.

The new ensemble is a reset rather than an update, eventhough keeping compatibility with previous devices (except drumin which has too many deep changes). Will be available as a free update to Aquarius users.

It starts with Aquamax to get to SynCron
It starts with LogiQ to get to Drumin (LogiQ had a lot of mixed up connection, making it difficult to use sometimes)
I am working on an even more complex version of SynCron.

Release : probably somewhere mid/end of july. I do not want to rush things.

Hey guys, what’s up?

Ron, aka Spielraum, has just sent me an awesome set of presets for the upcoming AquaMax update.

I am always amazed when other people explore my devices. Different inspirations lead to completely different sounds from the ones I would have created myself.

All of Ron’s 120+ Aquarius presets will be included when the update is released. But may be you just need the audio files : you can hear and get his amazing work available here : https://www.beatport.com/release/aquari ... on/7058121

A few words from Ron / Spielraum:
SpaceF Aquarius Family 2026 Trailer
- All 10 electro-DJ construction tracks were recorded in a single take using SC Scope and two spaceF AquaMax units, then combined into the “spaceF Aquarius Trailer” medley DJ mix.
- The result: pure Aquarius sound.

Note for newcomers : "Aquarius" is an ensemble of drum generating synths and sequencers, that is currently being remade and will probably be renamed differently, to take into account recent addition and improvments, as can be seen in the above screeshots.

I'm adding midi triggers inside , to trigger drums directly. challenge is only the velocity control.
This is a slightly different mode than using the Tx5 midi/trigger crossfader. Mainly because it allows to use the incoming triggers from LogiQ or Drumin, while Tx5 is more about either midi or triggers, with crossfading capabilities between the two, but making incoming triggers unavailable as modulators.
I just began this today, not sure when it will be done (especially because it need to be put in several devices).
Will not change existing presets, as the midi or trigger siwtch will not be remembered in presets (so all presets remain compatible in either mode). Only the midi note that triggers the drum module will be in presets. The important point is to still be able to play melodies on the drum modules that can follow a keyboard melody (kick, FM, Osc27). So the new internal midi triggers are like adding a third way to play the drums.
With the heat waves all is a bit slower... but should be ready near mid-july (that's the plan at least) ...

sorry, been very buzy on other stuff ... getting back to it asap (I just have a typo to correct on two device, import new presets from Ron, pack the whole thing, try to make a decent manual... stuff like that... close to burn out, but I think it is quite a good device for drums and track "reinforcement").
Thx for your patience.

Hi there, just to inform, I am taking a week of civilisation (or what's left of it).
Complete burn out. It's better if I release the stuff when I am back.

In the meantime, please check Ron's new release made with Atlas Midi :
Electronica maxi single with SF Atlas RR Bank2026 preview.
all one shots and drum sounds exclusively from your new baby Altas MIDI, 2x multitimbral with Pgm Change.

https://www.beatport.com/release/fraktal-room/7290967
Enjoy and thanks for your patience.

Also, I haven't yet resolved the issue of EU electronic invoicing which is compulsory in FR and a big annoyance and costs.
September/october will be ok though (SpaceF does not emits electro-invoice, but I have to choose a system anyway to receive them. stupid and invasive legal bs....)

Ok, take care, see you in 10 / 15 days

hi just some new, while being buzy on other projects, I've been chasing small bugs and correcting them while using the devices in own music projects, such as direct mono outs that were silent (not connected inside Atlas and Atlas Midi, due to internal architecture changes)...

I will release without a manual at first because that's what has been blocking me. There will be videos instead + material from Aquarius/LogiQ versions that should be enough to begin. I still need to import /organize presets made during beta test and Ron's presets.

I don't give a deadline anymore, as I prooved unable to meet them... sales momentum lost I suppose :-)

Thanks for your patience.
