Synchronizing audio and MIDI

Hi, I'm testing my friend's Pulsar and have one problem.
When I try to record MIDI with Logic 5.1, it gives me error:
"Error while trying synchronize Audio and MIDI. Sample Rate 87183 recognized. Check the conflict between Logic Platinum 5 and external device."
The advice is clear and I found a previous topic about this, but I already have sample rate set to 44.1 on both Logic and Pulsar. What to do next?

Really nobody?
I forgot to mention, that this happens only with Windows XP. W2K seems to work just fine.

any exterior clock?where's the master?

no, nothing. Just logic (5.1) and Pulsar
