Visual debugging/Readout for modular3
I'm trying to do some logic in mod3 and would like to be able to debug stuff.
In order to see if logic is working as it should, i need visual feedback/readouts.
I can't seem to find anything anywhere.
Is this something that exists for mod3?
Right now i'm trying to read what comes out of BCMs Async event counter. But I don't know a way to display this info.
Thanks

Flexor's Constant Val monitor and similar tools from BC Modular. I don't have Scope open at the moment to recall each tool name, but they are there.

Thanks. I dont have flexor since they cost money.
I can’t seem to find anything built in, in mod3.
Feel free to let me know once you open scope.
Thanks Valis!

Look at the Constant Val/Freq/Time etc modules.
Flexor has some advantages in that every module calculates on every sample (implemented with low level math adders by Assaf rather than the SDK tools that come in the Scope SDK) but those should work fine.

Re: Visual debugging/Readout for modular3
Thanks Valis.
I looked over the page but can't find anything that can display a value based on an input.
Maybe i'm just blind but it doesn't really seem like anything useful is there.
Might have found something useful in the CWM "Valmeter". Will check it out later.
Thanks for your time

Constant Val & Constant Val Bipolar? And several others for their specific input types?

I have tried them. They only have outputs. They are for generating values. Not reading them.
Re: Visual debugging/Readout for modular3
Gotcha, sorry. Since I have Flexor I always use VAL monitor, and I assumed the value display on that worked the same way.the19thbear wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 9:11 am I have tried them. They only have outputs. They are for generating values. Not reading them.

That was the one, thanks

I haven't played as much with Mod in a while, you've actually got me thinking about installing BC Modular on my Xite system and learning the quirks for modular there, most of my modular time was spent on my legacy PCI era system.
