No,- it´s slow because data transmission between PCI slots and PCIe card is USB3 only.

I don't think it's actually using the USB protocol. I think it's just using it for data transmission. It could also have been hdmi or whatever.
No matter what, I'm pretty sure the whole pcie to pci thingy (including possible USB protocol) is causing this .
But who knows :)

Might have to look around for an old magma chassis.
