Does anyone know how to load a sample/program into STS4000 and keep the original parameters (ASDR).
I have tried using the Control Key when I drop samples into the pool or program slot... but they always lose their settings (?)
Each time I load a sample... I have to mess with the sustain, release, attack to make the sample sound correct. The same programs load and play fine in the sample player.dev.....

This is driving me nuts

Basically when load the sample (akai) and have done the custom parameter or whatever into the STS4/5k environments, you should use save as pulsar sts file format (piano.sts, for example). That's all.

I think you misunderstand my problem..
I'm trying to load a sample with the original Akai settings intact... I don't want to have to guess what each sample should sound like, adjust the parameters and then save them out in sts format..
At the moment..when I load a Grand Piano sound into STS4000, it sounds like a plastic toy piano... I have to modify everything to get it to sound something like a Grand piano... or load it into the sample player.dev to hear how it should sound...
