Setting up AUX/effect send in Logic

Could anyone give me some advice on how to do this as an alternative to XTC-mode? I find XTC-mode a bit bothersome due to the fact that you can not change f.ex. a reverb parameter in realtime without pops and clicks.

Create an Uadio Object in Logic Environnement, then select some input and output asio channels, in SFP, between those channels, put and effect...

Use this new Audio Object to route like a new AUX in Logic...

an i/o object(new for 5.2) makes this easy.you can use i/o object in busses or channels just like any other insert.
