Soundscape is a great system! It has a very professional image and most of all it never crashes! But I find the whole package to be too expensive. And although they have some very high quality plugs like "Cedar" noisereduction and some other stuff the users bemoan the number of plugs availible for their platform. Also you need all expansion cards in order to have enough processing power. I haven´t seen Soundscape since years...but I know it is still used for "live events" and "forensic work". I know they have upgraded their hardware recently... and are therefore competitive again.

The Mixtreme card alone is one of the very best asio cards, whith 3ms asio latency and a dsp mixer on board. You need "tdif" connectors/cables for the mixtreme. But I have once heard the Soundscape chief mention in the Nuendo forum, that there were plans for an adat-only card... Hmmm, that´s all that comes to my mind right now...
