What happens if I get another Creamware DSP card in my computer?

I have a Pulsar II and I buy let's say a Pulsar XTC. Besides that I'll get 6 more DSPs what happens with my software?

I get two board serials don't I? Does that mean I can only use Creamware software on one card and not on the other?

Your Creamware OS will recognise both boards, and will accept keys of either of them, all together. You'll run the OS as if you had one big card, with all concerning IO's, registrations,...

So if you install an XTC card tohether with your current PulsarII, the only difference you'll see is 12 DSP instead of 6. XTC cards come w XTC soft, which you don't need cos it's included w PulsarII. An SRB would be cool, cos it does not contain any registrations. It's cheaper and gives you no double keys.

If you'd work with a Pulsar1, you have to do a cset.ini tweak maybe, to make sure the SRB acts as ASIO host, for lower latency.

That's the easiest part of more DSP cards, just throw them in and connect the STDM link. The hard part is to work for the $$

Ah... so that how it works. Doesn't sound too hard. Two more Qs:

1) SRB... cheaper? Where can I buy a SRB that's cheaper than an Pulsar XTC?

2) STDM link? Ugh... is that included? Can't remember seeing one...

SRB has no registrations or IO's.
XTC card has reg's: XTC software can be run on them.
An SRB can only be used as extension to current system, XTC card can be used as only CW card too.

STDM cables will be included, or are freely available at your dealer. http://www.keymusic.be , my shop, usually do screw things up tho:
-Scope SRB was 400€ more expensive in their shop than at CW's,
-i had to pay for STDM cables,
-they gave me a Pulsar2 w Classic IO when I bought Pulsar2 + Luna2496
-...

I'm sure you'll have more luck
