Hi!
I managed to buy a used Ferrofish A16 mk2 yesterday evening. I wasn't able to really test it and we agreed I'd test at home. The machine works perfectly, input- and outputwise.
There is however a highpitched noise coming from the case (a 'physical noise' so to speak). It's not huge, but enough to be annoying in my very quiet studio. It didn't come with the original PSU, but a PSU with the right specs. I tried another PSU, but with the same results.
I googled, but didn't find this to be a common issue. Maybe someone here has a clue about the solvability of this issue?
Thanks and stay save everyone!
Jasper

It is not exactly the same problem, but you might find this thread interesting:

Re: Ferrosifh mk2 high pitched noise from case
Thanks Petal!
I've ordered a new stabalized PSU with more than enough power. Let's see if that works. From the pics of the board inside the MK2 I don't think a lot of soldering can be done. I'll keep you posted!
Cheers,
Jasper
