In what resolution do u work?

Hello to all, do u use 96khz? I like the sound more both for pulsar and for vst instruments. I 'm using 48 khz right now. Luckily reactor can «double» it's internal resolution (works in 96khz). Is there a problem for downsampling to 44100? What do u use for the convertion?

Do the conversion 48>>>>>44,1kHz only at the final end of your sound processing, with the best quality available (low speed)

downsampling is not the best thing to do.....

Well, all my tracks get burned to cd at one point so there's little sense in working in anything else than 44.1 Khz

Unless you're doing some mad DVD-A 96kHz surround mix or working a lot for television (48kHz) I really don't see the point in working in anything other than 44.1 (plus those audio files start geting pretty big). If you want to increase your dynamic range you're probably better off recording in 24 bit rather than 16 bit (or are you going the whole hog with 32 bit

) and then dithering down to 16 bit for the final master, keeping it all in 44.1 of course.
