Im considering buying a Carillion AC1 and need to know if it will work well with my system?
Anyone using one of these systems?

I heard somewhere that you can haggle them down a bit on price, so be shrewd when you contact them.

But no I haven't used one.

They have systems shipping with Creamware cards, so if their testing is as thorough as they say they should be fine.

And they are using Intel chipsets which are the best for CW systems.

I don't use them myself but they look fine.

However i've read on another forum that they have bad customer support and such.
This could be one dissapointed customer spreading his bad experience, but don't say i did'nt warn you.

Hi, yeah I have one of these boxes. They are nice. I managed to haggle with price by proving I could get memory + disks cheaper elsewhere. They are well built and if you ask for a special bracket, you can mount extra drives vertically inside. I have 3 creamware boards inside and they get hot so I have had to install some pci slot fans cos It doesnt come with any cooling as standard.
It runs nice and quiet out of the box but if you replace the standard heatsink+fan combo with a alpha/pabst combination you can get it even quieter.
