Considering the cost off the Scope hardware/software, I'm very surprised there aren't more Youtube and Soundcloud pure single instrument demos. I bet sales for the XITE would spike if Sonic Core put out a concerted effort to really showcase each individual plug in, or at least the major ones, on Youtube. I'm surprised at how each plug in page only has a handful of audio demos. It's really a shame.
I totally agree with you ! (See the other topic about that...)
Anyway, I went to listen to some of your links. And if I understand well, you'd like to know if you'll be abble to produce agressive sounds like in your examples with Scope.
--> Answer : believe me, it's not a problem at all to make that kind of sounds in Scope !! You'll have modular II & III and if you like, you'll can buy Modular IV and Flexor (2 other module collection but not free) and you'll have a crazy arsenal to make such sounds ! You'll have 2 completly free module collections : BCmodular + CWmodules = hundreds modules to tweak and make as agressive as you want Walt Disney Snow White voice.
In fact, with Scope & modular, you'll be able to produce any sound you want, as simple as that. But I don't know if you know modular synth very well or not, if you don't, you'll have to spend some time to learn about. And here, on Z and on BCmodular forum, you'll find any help for improving your knowledge.
My modular module collection is 1722 modules at the moment But I kept the ancient CW & BC too ! And don't forget that Modular is not only a modular synth : it has audio input, so you can build your own fx processor with 3ms latency and connect at its input asio, Scope synth, Scope analog input, whatever outputing audio in Scope !!
I often use Modular to process my Supernova sound (which is already awesome !) !
I think you can find Faxinadu Scope & Modular reviews on youtube, if I'm not wrong.
