It probably sounds like a "MIDI to audio" question but I'd like to know in the absence of the STS, how is it possible to record a stereo track from a multi-track sequence, e.g. using Cubase.
I've got 48 ASIO sources routed to mono channels in Scope and that has been nice although my SPDIF cable is causing clocking issues so I keep it low in volume but how do I get out of Scope Environment to create a stereo mix?
Thank you for any help, you have all been very helpful thus far

Re: How to record an mp3
Well to create a stereo mix all channels have to end up on a single channel through a buss or aux. There are a few ways to do it depending on what you want to do.
What's your routing? Is everything routed in your DAW? Are you using any Scope mixers or effects.
Once you have everything set just send the outs to the final stereo master and send that to your DAW or Scope's VDAT.

Hi,
I've worked out how to create Scope ASIO outputs, and can route back into Cubase however I was hoping for a way to record in Scope and output a file but unfortunately there is no way to do this under the 64 bit driver.

You can record into VDat. It will give you two mono signals. Pan them left and right when you import them into your DAW sum them then convert to mp3.

just record the stereo mix back in a stereo track in Cubase. then you can convert the wav file into an mp3.
