Hi everybody ;
When i'm trying to load scope project there's this message (PCI Master Overflow...) It occurs when i launch Reaper
After searching in many ways, i can't get more than six tracks (Asio source) from every scope projects. when i add two more tracks(8), then the PCI message appear again and i loose sync
I've Xite-1 on a Toshiba M800 laptop, W8.
Could it be an expresscard link problem ?
Many thanks about your advices.
JL
PCI Master Overflow...
Re: PCI Master Overflow...
you can always try a different hdmi cable.
have you done these things?

once you have done any of those itemsa that can be done, in an empty project, how many masterverbs can you load?

Re: PCI Master Overflow...
First, I'd suggest running LatencyMon and DPC Latency Checker to see if there's anything in particular that is causing delays in your system.
Double check your processor speed. Make sure the laptop hasn't scaled the processor frequency back. This will cause these exact issues you have (you can try also scaling ULLI way back past 20ms, and you might get a couple extra channels, but not much).
Don't just look & see if certain features are disabled (such as Intel SpeedStep or Turbo), but make sure the processor is running at it's full speed *always*.
Tips from another thread to check this: http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php ... 0&#p306810
(You can ignore the part about PCI latency though)
If it is scaled back, you can google for a power profile that runs the processor at full speed, or dive into your BIOS to make the right settings.
Once you get that straight, you can temporarily turn off all the shit software laptop manufacturers add (like modem control, volume buttons, etc)...this will help your system run fast & lean...giving you more ASIO at lower ULLI settings.

Gary and Jk;
Many thanks for your hints.
After have checked those points ( CPU options...), my system runs
like before. (It's now possible to load 30 Masterverbs x, in an empty project)
It's good to feel helped, thanks again.
Jean.
