I have this full of fx track. Just one multi fx is not enough !
My question is : for dsp optimization, is it better to put the second multifx inside the first one or outside : the inputs of the second one pluged into the first one outputs ? (in one word in serial...)
As my project is really heavy, I'm trying to optimize it at the most.
Thanks !
Multifx in multifx
Re: Multifx in multifx
Any idea ?
Are 2 mutifx in serial using more connexion, so more dsp power ? Is it less power eating with one inside the other ? That is the question.

Hello - im no expert, but you should be able to see this by looking at your dsp load...try one way vs. the next and you will see whichever one requires more dsp, or not. i had to do this when assigning various modules to specific dsps, kinda like watching the temp gauge in an old car

Thanks !
But dsp meter is not much clear to me... It allways changes its display...

Re: Multifx in multifx
understood, but you should be able to see if there is a significant dsp load difference between the two..?.if it's too hard to see the difference then it probably isnt a big deal...also clicking on the'%' symbol on the dsp meter makes it easier to see load differences
