I'm looking for some note object just to put a label on the routing window devices.
I just find notes which don't stick on the routing window : they must be opened to see what is written. I wish them to show a short text without opening them. I think I remember I've seen that somewhere but I don't find it in my archives.
Thanks.

Re: Note
+1
I remember Jimmy V showing this with a 'bastard' jpeg, but hell, from all the notes devices (and there are a lot in my folder) I have none seem to do this. I tried downloading all the ones I came across... alas. I think it was a spaceF device...
On the same note, how wonderful wouldn't it be if modular patches showed the patch name in the routing window?
Thank god we at least have the 'external devices'... Clears up a lot of wiring mess!

Re: Note
Processes and communication with the user must look horrifying old fashoned and stiff for new users, if you ask me.
A detail: changing ScreenSet could be so easy just by picking small numbers on the bottom of the life banner
The way it should be done now is absurd.
Other processes are more in need for overhoal, like preset handling, but -with the eye on the future- if it ain't sexy...
I know there's no manpower...yet it's important.

Re: Note
if you edit a bcmodular shell you can rename it to the patch and it shows up as the patch name
same with any of the clm modules you just rename them by pressing the edit button then writing your new name in the text box
plus theres the text naming modules that dont use any dsp
roythines/bcmodular/adern/and spacef have mdls that do this

Re: Note
I'd like to stick label on routing window, all roythines/bcmodular/adern/and spacef note modules I found are with text fields that you must expand : there text don't stick on the routing window, just a module called 'note'.
It would be a module in which one can type text and that text becomes the name of the module in the routing window.
->Borg... That's it, as you say that, I remember to have seen that on a Jimmy's jpg screen. I remember now it was from Spacef...
Maybe someone still has it...?
